Dear IBEW 435 Member at Bell MTS,
Negotiations with Bell MTS has been challenging. We have met several times with the company and discussed many propsals that our membership have brought forward. We are committed to reach a Tentative Agreement as soon as possible for our Members to vote on. If/when we reach a Tentative Agreement, or our committee chooses to look at options, we will let IBEW Members at Bell MTS know the details. Until then, there is no update on negotiations.
Our Bargaining Committee will be meeting with the Bell Labour Relations leadership team on April 11th with the understanding that more dates may be needed.
*UPDATE*
Due to the fact that Bell executives have been summoned to the Canadian House of Commons for testimony in regards to recent reductions at Bell, the IBEW 435 negotiations have been re-scheduled to April 18th, 2024.
