Dear First District Members,
The IBEW Veterans Committee aims to ensure the IBEW is representative of all its members and provides a voice for veterans at the highest level of our union. As your First District representative on the IBEW Veterans Committee, I am to bring forth concerns and comments to the committee from members across our district. The IBEW Veterans Committee meets virtually every two months to discuss matters pertaining to our Veterans within the union and undertakes to bring together several agencies to facilitate the hiring of veterans within the electrical industry. If you are a Veteran, we encourage you to fill out a quick survey. This survey will not only help the First District Veterans Community to connect together, but also to assist our International Vice President and his leadership team to make decisions on how to achieve objectives set by the International Office.
